Help save the bees! The Ohio BMV requires at least 500 Save the Honeybee license plates to be sold in the first two years in order to keep it available. This is so important because proceeds go towards honeybee education and research. The bees need you. This is a small, but significant way you can help them.
Come check us out at the Ohio State Fair this year! OSBA will have it’s pavilion up and running from  August 2nd to August 9th!

Don’t forget to take the National Colony Loss and Management Survey for 2015-2016. Your apiary is important for research. Help save the bees by logging into: http://10.selectsurvey.net/beeinformed/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=BIP2016#

Let’s bring the Ohio Valley community of beekeepers together by using the blog as a discussion forum. Do you have a question, comment, essay or story you’d like to share about beekeeping? Use the Contact page to make a submission to the blog.

Like us on our Facebook page at OSBA Ohio Valley. This is another way we can connect and discuss issues of interest or concern.
